EnquireBy reimagining worn-out media tropes, Middel inserts opinion in place of facts to challenge how mass communication shapes our understanding of the world. After joining Magnum Photos in 2017, she became a full member in 2022, and was then voted as the agency’s president that same year. Middel exhibits her work internationally and she has published numerous photobooks. Prominent institutions house her work in their collections, including the Tate (London) and also the Museo del Prado (Madrid).
