EnquireHaving graduated as an economist in her early twenties, Sabrina Komár went onto complete an MA in Textiles over 10 years later. As her creative practice grew, her work became increasingly experimental, crossing various artistic genres and mediums. While primarily concerned with photography for its unparalleled realism, Komár finds the medium in its traditional sense stifling. Merging a wide range of analogue and digital techniques allows Komár to work with freedom. She intervenes on traditional practices with various manipulations, most notably ‘scanography’ on polaroids, photograms, lumen prints and chemigrams.
