Framing
David Bailey: Kray Twins. For this picture, we recommend book-mounting the print in a passepartout and framing in a black wooden box. It is widely accepted as the most traditional way to frame photography—especially rare or vintage works—giving visual priority to the image and yet fitting stylishly into most interiors. The price includes framing in this style, however it is possible to buy the work un-framed.
Shipping
We aim to ship works that are unframed within 2 weeks, and within 6 weeks for works that require framed. We always aim to get your print to you as quickly as possible! However, please note that the times above may vary depending on the work. For exact timings, please get in touch. All works are shipped from the UK. Please note that prices listed above does include framing, but excludes shipping costs and any relevant taxes that may vary depending on your location.
Artwork In Detail
In 1965, Bailey created his most celebrated work, ‘Box of Pin-Ups’, which included defining images of cultural icons early on in their careers, such as John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol and David Hockney. The portfolio lent further controversy to Bailey’s burgeoning fame, as it also featured the infamous London gangsters, Reggie and Ronnie Kray.
