In preparation for Michael Kenna’s new book ‘Photographs & Stories’, art critic and journalist, Graeme Green interviewed Kenna for The Guardian on his 50-year career. Green asked Kenna to comment on six key photographs that feature in the new book, three of which we exhibited in our pop-up exhibition earlier this year, ‘Michael Kenna: New Works From Japan.’ The interview discusses Kenna’s methodological practice, his love for nature, and various excerpts from the photographer’s storied life. ‘Photographs & Stories’ will be published on the 20th November 2023 by Nazraeli Press.
